By accessing or using Earthvolve, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Use of Service
Earthvolve provides a platform for connecting volunteers with environmental organizations and their events. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep your account details up to date. You may not share your account or allow others to access it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we determine pose a risk to the platform or other users.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use Earthvolve to harass, abuse, or harm others; to post false or misleading information; to impersonate any person or entity; to interfere with the operation of the service; or to violate any applicable laws or regulations. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited conduct.
Intellectual Property
The Earthvolve platform, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Earthvolve and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the service.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Earthvolve is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Earthvolve and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
